| A USA Today article offering a very favorable review of PBS KIDS GO! The Great Word Quest. The reviewer is Jinny Gudmunsen, editor of "Computing with Kids" magazine. She gave the site 3.5 out of 4 stars! |

| PBS KIDS nominated for Webby People's Choice |
04.28.10 |
| PBS KIDS was nominated for a Webby award. Of course, I voted for PBS KIDS in the Youth category. IMHO, there's no better site out there for kids gaming and media consumption. Our site is one of the few that kids as young as 2 and 3 can easily navigate. That said, PBS KIDS is in league with some very great and worthy sites in this year's people's choice like Do Something, a site that empowers teens to organize and inspire each other online so they can get real things accomplished in the real world. |

| Wordpress |
04.28.10 |
| Wordpress has been around for a while but I'm only now realizing its influence. It's an open source blogging program and publishing tool that enables you to add features or widgets to it without editing HTML or php. I'm no developer and can hardly vouch for the Wordpress site's claim that "code is poetry" -- but I'm definitely going to investigate it and, if it proves as remarkably good as my co-workers say, evangelize it. |

| Attended Kidscreen in NYC 2010 |
02.15.10 |
| The Kidscreen Summit 2010 in NYC attracted some very talented artists, producers, and... salespeople. I met the creator of a fantastic series of animated shorts now playing on ABC Australia. Check out Figaro Pho (there are 26 shorts each depicting a unique phobia of Figaro's). While there, I also met the creators of EcoBuddies (a virtual world like Webkinz meets socially responsible, green values). Lovely characters. All in all, the Summit is overpriced, but it does offer a unique opportunity to explore ideas with some thoughtful people. |
